How rice is separated from paddy?
The paddy separator is used to separate brown rice from the unhusked paddy. It continuously sieves the mixture in a stratified state through a special separation disc according to the difference in specific gravity, particle size, and friction coefficient between brown rice and paddy. As a result of the separation, the large density and small grain brown rice are directed towards the upper part of the separation disc, and the small specific gravity and large grain rice are directed towards the lower part of the disc, separating the pure brown rice, pure paddy, and mixture.
