Recently, a 60T rice milling plant was sent to Burkina Faso and is now being installed at the customer’s site. The installation team is currently working on equipment positioning, assembly, and connection according to the planned processing layout.

Customer Background: Expanding Rice Processing Capacity

The Burkina Faso customer is involved in local rice processing and needs to handle a larger volume of paddy rice than a small standalone rice mill can efficiently manage.

As the business develops, relying on individual machines can make material transfer and production management more complicated. The customer therefore chose a 60T rice milling plant to create a more organized processing workflow and increase the amount of paddy that can be processed within a working day.

For this project, the focus is not simply on purchasing one rice milling machine. Instead, the customer needed a coordinated rice processing solution that could cover the main stages from raw paddy cleaning to finished rice.

60T Rice Milling Plant Installation

The current project is in the installation stage. Our technicians are working with the customer to position the equipment according to the designed processing flow and connect the different sections of the rice milling plant.

A typical rice milling process includes several important stages:

Paddy feeding → cleaning → destoning → husking → paddy separation → rice milling → rice grading → finished rice collection

Each stage has a specific function. Cleaning removes impurities from the incoming paddy, while the husking section separates the rice husk from the grain. Paddy separation then helps distinguish unhusked paddy from brown rice before the rice enters the milling section.

After milling, the rice can be graded to separate different sizes and improve the consistency of the finished product.

The installation process is therefore important because the machines need to work together as a complete production system rather than as isolated units.

Why Choose a 60T Rice Milling Plant?

For a customer handling a relatively large amount of paddy, a 60T rice mill plant provides a more suitable production structure than relying on several small independent machines.

The main advantages include:

  • Higher processing capacity for larger volumes of paddy
  • Continuous processing flow between major milling stages
  • Better production organization with equipment arranged according to the processing sequence
  • Reduced manual material transfer compared with a highly fragmented setup
  • More consistent finished rice quality through cleaning, separation, milling, and grading
  • Room for future business growth as the customer develops its local rice processing operation

The actual finished rice output will depend on the raw paddy variety, moisture content, milling rate, and operating conditions. Therefore, plant capacity should be evaluated according to the customer’s raw material and production requirements rather than by capacity alone.

From Installation to Commissioning

The current installation of the 60T rice milling plant is an important step before the rice milling plant enters operation. Once the main equipment and connections are completed, the system can move into testing and commissioning.

During this stage, the processing flow, machine operation, material transfer, and finished rice quality can be checked and adjusted. This helps ensure that the equipment operates properly under the customer’s actual working conditions.

For overseas rice mill projects, installation support is particularly valuable because equipment layout and machine connections need to be handled correctly before production begins.

A Complete Rice Processing Solution for Burkina Faso

As the installation progresses in Burkina Faso, the customer is preparing the plant for the next stage—commissioning and actual rice processing. Once operational, the system will provide a more organized way to process paddy into cleaner, properly milled, and graded rice for the local market.

If you are planning a rice milling plant in Burkina Faso or another African market, we can design the processing flow according to your required capacity, paddy variety, available space, and finished rice requirements.
